About the role
Airbnb is hiring an accountant for its Global Compensation Accounting team, which supports payroll, equity and benefits accounting across all regions. This is a remote-eligible role for candidates based in the United States.
What you’ll do
- Run month- and quarter-end close work: journal entries, reconciliations and financial statement analysis
- Work closely with Payroll Operations, Equity Administration and Benefits teams
- Support SOX compliance and accurate US GAAP reporting
- Take on special projects and ad-hoc reporting
- Use technology and AI tools to improve accounting processes
What they’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Experience with ERP systems (Workday or Oracle) and advanced Excel
- Bonus: experience automating processes with AI tools
Pay & benefits
$87,000 – $102,000 per year, plus eligibility for bonus, equity, benefits and travel credits. Working hours follow Pacific Time.
